The Living Statue Company are a collection of performance artists.

Formed in London in 2008 by mime artist Edwin Johnson The Living Statue Company is a collection of professional performers who create stunning pieces of living sculpture to perform at festivals and events worldwide.


Starting out as statue buskers in London's famous Covent Garden - a magnet for leading street performers from all over the globe - we quickly became sought after to perform at events all over the city. Within a few years we amassed a collection of hyper-realistic statue costumes and haven't stopped since.

How can we book a living statue? How does it work?

Here at The Living Statue Company we provide statue entertaiment for events of any scale. From working with international event producers, to working with town council event teams, to helping brides and grooms choose something unique and memorable for their wedding day: we perform at around 100 events per year.


Simply drop us an email and let us know about your event - we'll get right back to you with some options; choose either from our existing collection or have something custom made for your event.

Where are you based?

Our Human Statue performers are based across England: London, the Midlands, the North West and the North East.


We have extensive experience performing internationally, recent events include bookings in: France, Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, Italy, Dubai, Canada, The USA, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Qatar, Egypt, Singapore, China, Japan and many more.

How much will it cost? What will I have to provide?

Every event is unique and to give a price we need to know a little more about your occassion. The type of event, the location, the timings, the type of Living Statues required - all these details will help us determine the right price with no hidden surprises.


Send us the event details and we'll prepare a quote including all expenses and options.


On the day all we need is a secure dressing room area and washing facilites. We will supply our own dust sheets and mirrors making the whole process as clean, tidy and easy as possible. 

I'm a performer looking for Human Statue work, are you recruiting?

We tend to use people who already have experience as mimes or street performers but are always interested to hear from new performers with a keen interest in Living Statues.
